The story behind Canada's first twin festival.

For too long, twins across Canada have had nowhere close to home to gather and celebrate what makes their bond so rare. The Stratford Twin Festival changes that in May 2028, with a weekend built for twins, multiples, and the families who love them.

Our story

Twins deserved a place of their own.

Ask any twin and they will tell you the same thing. The bond is like nothing else, and almost no one outside of it fully understands. Yet across Canada, there has never been an event built to celebrate it. The closest gathering meant crossing the border into the United States.

We thought twins deserved better, and closer to home. So we set out to build a festival where twins, triplets, and multiples of every age could come together for one weekend, in a town that knows how to welcome a crowd. That town is Stratford, Ontario, and that weekend is May 5 to 7, 2028.

Our mission

To celebrate twin and multiple identity, build community among twins and their families across Canada, and give back to the town and causes that make it all possible.
